Digital editions

A digital edition is a finished, print-ready PDF of the TreeLine you choose, made at the moment you order it — later edits to your TreeLine do not change it.

We don't play 19.99 pricing games. Our prices are stated plainly, as the figures we mean, not dressed up with .99 endings.

A Family History edition is priced by the number of people drawn in the edition you order, not the number held in your Family or GEDCOM file; you see its size and price before you add it to your basket. TreeLines of up to 1,500 people drawn can be ordered. A Wedding TreeLine pair is one flat price, however many people it draws, and covers both the edition for your reception and the updated edition after the wedding. Annual members can use the digital edition included in each paid year for one of these — up to size L or a Wedding pair in full, or the price of an L towards a larger one — and pay half price for every other. Monthly and Quarterly membership do not include one; digital editions are at the standard price.

Your digital price guarantee

Your digital TreeLine prices and membership benefits are fixed for your current paid subscription period using the prices in effect when that period began. Printing, framing, packaging and delivery are not included in this guarantee: those are quoted separately when you order, and the full price is shown before purchase.

Printed and framed TreeLines — Coming soon

Professionally printed, framed and delivered TreeLines are planned, but they are not available yet and cannot be ordered. Their prices will be shown here once suppliers, sizes, delivery costs and taxes are confirmed.

A Wedding TreeLine brings two families together in one TreeLine — a natural gift to print and frame. When printing opens, a printed Wedding will include its digital edition without charging for it twice. Until then you can print your own print-ready PDF at home or at any print shop.

Questions

Can I start monthly and change to annual?: Yes, on the same account. Your included digital edition comes once your first annual payment has gone through. Before you confirm, you will see exactly what you pay. You never have to change to annual to buy a digital TreeLine.
Does annual membership include a Wedding TreeLine or a large Family History?: Each paid membership year includes one digital TreeLine up to size L, or a Wedding TreeLine pair, with nothing more to pay. For an XL or XXL Family History, it counts as the price of an L and you pay the difference.
What is a Wedding TreeLine pair?: One purchase, two editions: the TreeLine for your reception, and an updated edition after the wedding with your photographs. The second costs nothing more and uses no further credit.
What if I'm not ready to choose this year?: Annual membership credits carry forward while your annual membership continues. Unused annual membership credits expire when your annual membership ends.
What if I cancel my membership?: Any finished PDF you have bought is yours to keep. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your membership and its credits last until the end of the period you have paid for, and unused annual membership credits expire when your annual membership ends. How long we keep editions online for you to download again will be set out before membership opens.
Can I buy a TreeLine for commercial use?: Yes. At checkout you choose, for each TreeLine, personal or family use, or commercial use (for a paying client, resale, commissioned work, or television, streaming or editorial production). Commercial TreeLines are the full price, with no member price and no membership credit, and come with the commercial licence. If you buy often for professional work, ask us about agreed terms.
Can you print, frame and deliver my TreeLine for me?: Not yet. Professional printing and framing from Our TreeLine is coming soon. What you buy today is a print-ready digital PDF: no printed or framed TreeLine is included or shipped.
Can I print my own digital edition?: Yes. Each edition is a print-ready PDF at its actual size, for the use its licence allows: print it at home or at a print shop of your choice, and frame it as you like.
Is the price shown the total?: Before you pay anything, checkout will show the final price, whether VAT applies, how often it renews, and the cancellation and refund terms. How tax applies is still being confirmed, so it is not stated here yet.
I don't live in the UK. What will I pay?: The prices here are in UK pounds. Prices for other countries and currencies will be confirmed before membership opens.
