Rebuilding a TreeLine

Where to find it. Right-click an empty part of the chart ›

Reset › Rebuild TreeLine. On a Wedding it is Reset to the automatic

arrangement in its Settings.

What is cleared. Hidden people and collapsed branches, so everyone

is visible again; sibling ordering; branch growth directions; sibling-set

splits; top and bottom pins; position nudges; sibling grouping;

arrangement locks; each person's own bar style; and hand-placed Event

label positions. The Recipe is discarded too: after a rebuild there is no

history of the instructions you had.

What is kept. The Default bar style, bar colours, labels, annotations,

which Events are drawn and how, and your other design choices. Your family

history itself is never touched.

Smaller resets. The same Reset menu can instead clear just Bar

styles, Show all hidden, or Hide all events / Show all

events.
