Marriage and relationship details

What it does. Shows and edits one relationship: who the partners are,

its type (Partner, Married and so on), when it began and ended, where it

took place, any notes, and the sources for the marriage.

Where to find it. Click a person, open Relationships in the Person

pane, and press Edit beside a partner. The record opens above the list

as Existing relationship. New starts a new relationship instead.

How to use it.

1. Change the type, the start or end date, or the notes.
2. Save. Only what you changed is written; the place and the sources
   
   are kept.
3. To change where a marriage took place, use the Family Map:
   
   the place is shown here as it was recorded, with whether it is on the
   
   map yet.

What to expect. A relationship stored as Partner stays Partner until

you change it. If it has a marriage place or sources, the pane points this

out, since older imports stored marriages as Partner. Someone who may view

but not edit sees View instead of Edit, with the reason.
