Event details

Where to find it. Click the Event on the chart — its symbol, its

period or its label. The person's Person pane opens on Events with

that Event selected. Someone who may view but not edit the Family sees it

read only.

The Family's Event. Its type (such as Baptism, Burial, Migration,

Residence, Military, Education or Occupation), Date, an End date

only for a period, Place and Description, saved with Save.

These are shared by every TreeLine of the Family.

On this TreeLine. How this chart draws it: Not drawn (hide on this

TreeLine), Marker, or Callout (movable label), with a Caption

on this TreeLine and Reset caption; an Event with no date can be

shown at a year with Display at year on this TreeLine. These change

this chart only and are saved at once.

Deleting. Delete from Family… removes the Event from every

TreeLine of the Family, after asking. To stop drawing it on one chart,

choose Not drawn instead.
