How a marriage is annotated

Where to find it. Right-click a marriage line › Marriage

annotation. Settings › Events and Marriages sets the default for

the whole TreeLine. Clicking the marriage's rings or caption opens the

marriage itself in Relationships.

The choices.

• Marker — the rings on the marriage line, with no words.
• Attached caption — the rings and the date · place, in the
  
  partner's Event lane.
• Callout — a movable label with a leader to the marriage line.
• Hide from Canvas — stop drawing this annotation; the marriage line
  
  and its facts are unchanged.
• Follow the TreeLine default — undo this marriage's own choice.

Words and position. Edit caption… puts your own words on this

TreeLine; Reset label position returns a dragged callout to automatic

placement.

What to expect. These are the same choices as an Event, and they

change this TreeLine only.
